This publication is an update of an earlier Ohio Literacy Resource Center workplace literacy bibliography and contains 20 resources from 1993 to the present. Items have been selected based on a number of criteria: they had to be of high quality, have practical use, and be readily available to a wide audience of workplace literacy practitioners. Curriculum packages and program descriptions are not included. Items are grouped into these categories: getting started in workplace literacy education, designing workplace literacy instruction: what makes a good program?, program evaluation, instruction in English as a Second Language, and other resources--subscription information for a quarterly newsletter and an organization with its available publications. Each entry includes title, author, availability, and cost, if applicable.
