The present research confirms findings regarding the absence of overall sex differences in risk taking preferences on a revised Kogan-Wallach Choice Dilemmas Questionnaire(CDQ). Tests administered to students at the beginning and end of their first year in junior high school showed that gender role adoption decreased in importance as the year progressed; biological sex emerged as of prime importance.
