Incoming university freshmen (n=752) completed an anonymous questionnaire, and their responses were analyzed by percentages, analysis of variance, and factor analysis. Asian-American undergraduates (N=139) responded to a questionnaire covering demographic information and attitudes toward education, family, interracial contact, and racial discrimination.
