Occasionally situations arise in which a measurement does not lend itself to such traditional methods of reliability estimation as the test-retest, parallel-test, or internal consistency methods. This paper proposes basing reliability estimation in such situations on estimates of validity coefficients as lower bounds. (Author/LMO)

A validity study of the OCD Questionnaire instrument for assessing organizational climate in the schools concludes that (1) the prototypic profile is not useful, and (2) subtests of the OCDQ tap and measure important aspects of the organizational climate of secondary schools. (Author)

New data on retest reliabilities for three parental questionnaires, designed to measure children's temperaments at six months and at one and two years of age, were obtained with independent samples.
