This 70-item annotated compilation of sources of materials for poor readers represents a selection from among those available. Lists compiled more than fifteen years ago were eliminated, unless they had unusual depth and merit, for most of their recommendations would not be currently available. Current lists which included only a few scattered items were also omitted. A few sources that are now out of print were included because of the high quality of their recommendations or their coverage of an important reading area. (Author/TO)
