Bennett, Dawn; Franzmann, Majella – Arts and Humanities in Higher Education: An International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice, 2013

Galaczi, Evelina D.; ffrench, Angela; Hubbard, Chris; Green, Anthony – Assessment in Education: Principles, Policy & Practice, 2011
The process of constructing assessment scales for performance testing is complex and multi-dimensional. Laenen, Annouschka; Alonso, Ariel; Molenberghs, Geert; Vangeneugden, Tony – Psychometrika, 2009
Reliability captures the influence of error on a measurement and, in the classical setting, is defined as one minus the ratio of the error variance to the total variance. The "U.S. News & World Report" (USNWR) rankings have become the "gold standard" of the college ranking business.
