Scale scores of KOIS profiles of 202 reentry women were converted to within individual form by means of a z-score transformation. Seven factors emerged on the female-normed scales and 11 factors on the male-normed scales. Four factors were similar in both norm sets and two showed some overlap. (Author)

This study investigated effects of receiving results of the Kuder Occupational Interest Survey on several aspects of vocational behavior among high school students. It was found that receiving results increased self-knowledge compared to a control group who received none. Implications for guidance programs in the schools are discussed. (Author)

The Kuder Occupational Interest Survey was administered to 202 women considering reentry into education. It was found that the KOIS does differentiate between women and individual interests are reflected for this sample of women.
