The purpose of this investigation was to empirically delineate patterns of verbal interview behavior in a national sample of rehabilitation counselors. The results of the study provided evidence suggestive of relationships among counselor training, job function, and verbal interaction style. (Author)

This article reports on a follow-up survey of disabled individuals discharged from an aftercare hospital residence program, who had begun a program for independent living to support their vocational development. Self-control techniques were taught to an obese 27-year-old black male to help modify overeating behavior. Self-reinforcement was utilized in addition to systematic isolation of chained eating behavior from associated stimulus situations.
