The results of the California Psychological Inventory, the Survey of Study Habits and Attitudes, and the Mooney Problem Check List for short-term clients, long-term clients, and nonclients were compared. Results supported the usefulness of the Mooney in a relatively normal setting. (Author)

This study investigates how counseling programs in Black colleges and universities are inappropriate for the clientele. Comparison is made between counseling in these institutions and in American colleges. Counseling programs are strikingly similar; the use of the word "inappropriate" asserts a perceived need to adopt a specific emphasis. (Author)

Comparisons were made between problems students brought to a peer counseling facility and to the professionally staffed counseling center at the same university over a three-year period.
