Student Success Centers (SSC) provide resources to enhance student success academically and holistically. Despite documented benefits of such services, some success centers report underusage and limited student awareness of resources. Using qualitative interviews with students at a small liberal arts college, we explored student perceptions of and barriers to accessing SSC resources. Findings revealed limited SSC knowledge, misperceptions of available resources, and stigma concerns. Participants suggested strategies to increase student engagement. We offer recommendations to success centers rooted in findings and current empirical best practices, including ways to address barriers and increase awareness of SSC resources among undergraduate students.
