The effects of answer changes on test scores of relatively non-test-sophisticated examinees was studied. Findings showed that a significantly greater number of changes were from wrong to right, thus increasing total test scores. Answer-changing behavior may reflect more than learned test-taking skill. Test papers of seventh-grade examinees were scored using students' initial responses, then rescored using their final responses on a subtest of the Metropolitan Achievement Test. Identifies the dimensions of vocational interests in the Ohio Vocational Interest Survey (OVIS) among adjudicated male delinquents. A random sample of 301 male delinquents were administered the OVIS. The results lend support for the use of the cubistic model and the OVIS with delinquents. (Author)
