Peterson, Rita W. – Journal of Research in Science Teaching, 1975
Studied the effect of the presence of an adult on the responses of a racially mixed group of elementary school children to curiosity-arousing objects. Results showed that the children exhibited more curiosity when they were left alone. A significant interaction was also found for age x sex x race. (MLH)
