Giles, Michael W.; And Others – Social Science Quarterly, 1975
This article focuses on the relationship between the black/white ratio and white withdrawl from desegregated public schools in eight Florida school districts. Although a threshold was found at which the rate of rejection increased, their findings do not support the tipping point theory of resegregation. (Author/DE)

The significance of continuing segregation in Chicago's public schools is discussed in this report. The failure of the "Access to Excellence" program to achieve voluntary school integration in spite of magnet programs and permissive transfers is described.
