Extrapolated IQs for the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R) are presented for sums of scaled scores that are both below and above the values published in Wechsler's WISC-R manual. The regression equations on which these extrapolations are based and cautions regarding the clinical use of these IQs are also presented. (Author)

Scores from 94 psychiatric and neurological patients on the 11 subtests of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale and the Halstead-Reitan Category and Finger Tapping tests were used in a factor analysis. The Category Test is not particularly sensitive to all types of brain pathology. (Author)

The Performance Scale of the WISC-R was administered to 59 prelingually deaf children attending a state-supported day school program. The results compare favorably with those found by Wechsler with the standardization sample. (Author)
