Administered the Slosson Intelligence Test (SIT) to 92 preschool children. Administered the Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scale to a sample of the group, and the results were compared to the results from the SIT. Results indicated the SIT overestimated the performance of average preschool children. (Author)

Investigated the relationship between the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test-Revised (PPVT-R) and the McCarthy Screening Test (MST) with a sample of 39 children whose mean age was 62.3 months. The relationship between a kindergarten screening battery (KSB) and scores on the Stanford Achievement Test was studied as a function of race for 519 white and 183 Native American students in kindergarten through grade 4.
