When asked to estimate the time needed to complete various pictured projects, Native American adolescents were less able than their non-Native American counterparts to estimate times chosen by adults. Because the ability to estimate time appears to be a factor in school achievement, study findings may have educational implications. (DS)

Presents results of a study comparing Georgia college students' scores on a test for economic understanding with scores of high school students. Compares scores by university and also by demographic information. Concludes that there is significant advantage in taking economics at the senior grade level in high school. (DK)
