The secretarial service at Iona College is located in the administration building and is linked to most of the 16 buildings on campus through seven IBM recorders connected to a telephone input system. A professor simply dials a designated telephone number, is automatically connected to an available recorder, and proceeds to dictate. This system provides a secretary for over 300 full and part-time faculty members. (Author)
