School psychologists dedicate considerable time and energy to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of students, often putting others' needs ahead of their own. Some simple self-compassion strategies that are presented in this article can help build the emotional resilience needed to thrive in this challenging role and also model the power of self-care and compassion to the students you serve, creating a ripple effect of emotional health and positive growth.
