The purpose of the present study was to enhance children's self-esteem through a five week self-photography project which provided each child in the experimental group with 60 pictures of himself in different poses. A 50 hour self-development approach to drug education which included values clarification, empathy training, drug information, with considerable peer interaction was evaluated by means of a true experiment. A structured, personal-adjustment training program relying on verbal, braille, and motor modes of presentation was developed and evaluated.
