Results of a survey on the prevalence of behavior problems in Gwynedd (Wales) are presented. Among findings were that ability was a relatively strong predictor of behavior problems while sex was not; and that school size and class size were also linked with behavior problems. (CL)

In a naturally integrated public elementary school, significantly more Black children were referred to the office than White children, but no differences between races were observed for exceptional education referrals. To generate normative data by grade and sex to accompany behavior rating scales, teachers rated 483 boys and girls in grades 1 through 4.
