Chang, Theresa S. – Psychology in the Schools, 1976
Pupils from fourth, fifth, and sixth grades (N=198) were studied to determine the relationship between children's self-concept, academic achievement, and teacher's rating of children's self-concept. The differences between grade levels, sex, and ethnic group membership were tested by analysis of variance. Results are discussed. (Author)

This research studied sex differences and age trends in the relationship of occupational preferences and aversions and occupational prestige. The relationships between preference and prestige were positive and stronger for the males than for the females. Males learn to prefer prestigious occupations; females learn to avoid them. (Author)

Samples of college students are compared in terms of gender role norms and relationships with particular focus on birth intentions. It was found that over time both men and women have become less sex role traditional and that these measures of sex role norms do predict birth intentions. (Author)

The WISC and WISC-R were administered to 20 Black psychiatric outpatients, ages 8 to 15. Scores revealed the two tests to be essentially different, with lower Verbal, Performance, and Full Scale IQs on the WISC-R.
