Cottle, Thomas J. – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1971
A study is reported of the relationships between an abbreviated dogmatism scale, two dogmatism subscales, and perceptions of time. Among the conclusions, it was found that for men and women, dogmatism relates to anxiety about time, a reduction in the present's and future's importance, and an emphasis on the past. (Author)

Rokeach Dogmatism Scale was administered to 25 Ss with, and, 24 Ss without previous teaching. Results indicate that age and amount of experience correlate positively with dogmatism. Implications for profession are discussed. (Author/CJ)
