Robyak, James E.; Downey, Ronald G. – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1979
A follow-up of participants completing a study skills course showed after one year no differences in attrition rates and significant increases in academic performance. Factors predictive of GPA varied over time. Results suggest that factors related to academic performance change as a function of demands of a university environment. (Author)

Undergraduate students (N=40) were classified as either judgers or perceivers based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and enrolled in six study skills classes characterized by more or less structure. Results indicated groups were equivalent prior to the course but afterwards judgers used study skills and attitudes more than perceivers. (Author)
