Geuss, Michael N.; Stefanucci, Jeanine K.; Creem-Regehr, Sarah H.; Thompson, William B. – Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance, 2012
Three experiments examined perceived absolute distance in a head-mounted display virtual environment (HMD-VE) and a matched real-world environment, as a function of the type and orientation of the distance viewed. Granrud, Carl E.; And Others – Journal of Experimental Child Psychology, 1984
Compares monocular depth perception with binocular depth perception in five- to seven-month-old infants. Binocular viewing resulted in a far more consistent tendency to reach for the nearer object. (Author)
