The Use of Student-Copresented Virtual Guest Speakers in Entrepreneurial Education
Schumann, Hans O.
Journal of Education for Business, v94 n6 p418-422 2019
Students wishing to be entrepreneurs have a great need for role models to serve as inspiration and help them envision their future organization. Universities often use guest speakers for this purpose. The author introduces a methodology of using a library of audio tapes as a virtual guest speaker series, larger and more diversified than even the most well-connected university could attract. Students copresent with the executives by pairing the taped messages with student-created presentation visuals.
