Using the Computer to Minimize SDS User Error Rate and Facilitate SDS Interpretation and Research.

This article summarizes an application of the computer to check the accuracy and to profile the Self-Directed Search (SDS). In addition, the one-page profile summarizes all of the information contained in the SDS booklet, and calculates the subject's differentiation score and the level of consistency. (Author)

The Virtues of the SDS and Its Associated Typology: A Second Response to Prediger and Hanson

The author reviews the evidence for the beneficial effects of the Self-Directed Search (SDS), indicates that Hanson and Prediger have misinterpreted the theory, that their evidence is misleading, and that other evidence indicates that males and females of the same type are similar.
