Forrer, Stephen E.; And Others – Research in Higher Education, 1977
Three forms of the Situational Attitude Scale (SAS) were given to 371 Japanese college students to measure their attitudes towards blacks, Koreans, and neutral persons without racial reference in 10 social and personal situations. Overall response pattern was similar to that of American and Danish students. (Author/LBH)

Based on 1,198 responses from chairmen in 38 state universities, this study focuses on the perception of chairmen on where major decisions are made (university, college, or departmental level), characteristics of departments by academic field, and selected personal attributes of chairmen.
