Adaptive behavior ratings of children with mental retardation by either parents (N=22) or teachers (N=22) were compared using the Adaptive Behavior Scale--School Edition. Findings indicated no significant differences in parents' and teachers' ratings in the categories assessed or in the importance ascribed to the behaviors evaluated. (Author/DB)

Analysis of teacher and parent ratings of 369 children with developmental disabilities on the Nisonger Child Behavior Rating Form provided normative data (means, T scores, and percentiles). Age influenced three of eight subscales on the parent ratings and one subscale on the teacher ratings. Gender did not influence subscale scores. (Author/DB)

The behavior of 120 children (grades 9-12) was rated by 2 groups of teachers using the Revised Behavior Problem Checklist. The correlation coefficients obtained indicate low to moderate relationship between teacher ratings of the same child, with the strongest correlations for the subscale Attention Problems-Immaturity.
