Huynh, Huynh – Journal of Educational Statistics, 1979
In mastery testing, the raw agreement index and the kappa index may be estimated via one test administration when the test scores follow beta-binomial distributions. This paper reports formulae, tables, and a computer program which facilitate the computation of the standard errors of the estimates. (Author/CTM)

Lord, Frederic M. – Journal of Educational Measurement, 1977
A variety of practical applications of item characteristic curve test theory are discussed. Among these applications are tailored testing, two stage testing, determining whether two tests measure the same latent trait, and measuring item bias towards minority or other groups. (Author/JKS)

Hamer, Robert; Young, Forrest W. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1978
TESTER, a computer program which produces individualized objective tests from a pool of items, is described. Available in both PL/1 and FORTRAN, TESTER may be executed either interactively or in batch. (Author/JKS)

Brennan, Robert L. – 1974
The first four chapters of this report primarily provide an extensive, critical review of the literature with regard to selected aspects of the criterion-referenced and mastery testing fields. Major topics treated include: (a) definitions, distinctions, and background, (b) the relevance of classical test theory, (c) validity and procedures for…
