Peer reviewedStack, Jacqueline G. – American Journal of Mental Deficiency, 1984
In a study designed to examine the effects of the difference in method of administration of interrater reliability of the Adaptive Behavior Scale, there were no significant differences in reliability coefficients among informants using three administration methods. Levels of agreement apparently differed with the type of behavior being observed.…

Peer reviewedZiomek, Robert L.; And Others – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1976
The Ross Educational Philosophical Inventory was psychometrically examined through the use of expert judges and factor analysis of a sample of responses to the inventory. Results are negative in general, but moderately positive results were found in relation to two of the four categories of the inventory. (JKS)

Peer reviewedCicchetti, Domenic V. – Educational and Psychological Measurement, 1976
A computer program which computes both the interjudge reliability of individual measurements and the extent to which the judges are biased in their ratings vis-a-vis each other is presented. The methods proposed are recommended on the basis of recent developments in statistical research. (Author/JKS)

Luszki, Margaret Barron; And Others – J Consult Clin Psychol, 1970
It was hypothesized that one could predict the reliability of the shortened WAIS on the basis of the Spearman Brown formula, and that in testing, as in other fields, you get what you pay for. Results confirmed these hypotheses; a short form is not an adequate substitute for the full WAIS. (Author)

The present findings provide some further support for two of Fiske's hypotheses: the adequacy of a test is a direct function of the structuring of the items and their substantive homogeneity." (Author)

Peer reviewedMishra, Shitala P.; Brown, Kenneth H. – Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1983
Compared the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and the WAIS-Revised in a sample of 88 adults. Indices of obtained correlation coefficients suggested a high degree of similarity between the two scales. Results also showed that WAIS IQs were significantly higher than corresponding IQs on the WAIS-R. (WAS)
