Certain subtests of the WISC, ITPA, and Stanford-Binet are used as measures of analogical reasoning. Because several facts suggested that the form of analogy used on these subtests does not require subjects to engage in true analogical reasoning, the validity of these subtests as measures of analogical reasoning was investigated. Hale, Robert L.; And Others – Psychology in the Schools, 1978
This study investigated the efficacy of predicting academic achievement as measured by the Wide Range Achievement Test, using the Slosson Intelligence Test For Children and Adults as the predictor. Results indicate that the Slosson IQ significantly predicts Wide Range standard scores. (Author)

Lokan, Janice – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1977
This article describes a study in which six academic and 25 shop courses offered in a special vocational high school were grouped into five clusters for each sex. Predictor tests were given to successive cohorts of entering ninth-grade students. (Author)
