This research was an attempt to determine the usefullness of the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule with pre-adolescent and early adolescent students. Previously it has been used with outpatients, institutionalized adults, or with college students. The RAS is a thirty item schedule that was developed for measuring assertiveness. (Author/RK)

This study examined the variability of classification by the Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFF) as a function of grade level medians. The study evaluated the Batelle Developmental Inventory (BDI) with 40 disabled children under 30 months of age. Subjects were also given the Bayley Scales and Vine Scales of Adaptive Behavior. The study evaluated use of the Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) with 77 successful deaf college students. Findings indicated that profiles were similar to those of hearing college students, that Form A was more appropriate for this population than was Form E, and that reliability and content validity were both questionable. College students were administered the Multidimensional-Multiattributional Causality Scale (MMCS). Most of the 3-item subscales had adequate reliabilities. Despite much evidence that the Jenkins Activity Survey Type A (JAS Type A) scale is lacking in essential psychometric properties, it continues to be widely used for measuring coronary-prone behavior.
