Weiler, William C. – Review of Higher Education, 1993
A study investigated the relationship between 1,720 college students' expectations at matriculation and actual post-baccalaureate choices. Results indicate minority students who expect to earn graduate degrees are significantly less likely to do so than their Caucasian counterparts. The findings suggest directions for further research.
