The Coordinating Board of the Texas College and University System was created by the Texas Legislature in 1965 to provide leadership and coordination for the Texas higher education system, institutions and governing boards. The present document is the 1972 annual report of the Coordinating Board. Discussions are presented in the report on changing enrollment patterns in Texas, the new senior institutions, community college development, work with private higher education, new programs and administrative changes, graduate education, financial planning and administration, student financial aid programs, and campus planning and physical facilities development.
