Examines the vocational aptitude patterns of males and females and Blacks and Whites. Work samples from the Micro-TOWER System of Vocational Evaluation were used to assess verbal, numerical, clerical perception, motor, and spatial aptitudes. Many differences were revealed of which counselors should be aware. (Author)

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which vocational interests of adolescents differed as a function of sex and aptitude. Aptitude was significantly related to six vocational interests areas. Differences between males and females in vocational interests did not change. (Author)

Differential Aptitude Test (DAT) scores of 2,622 students who were tested in the 8th, 9th, or 10th grades and who later entered a Minnesota area vocational-technical school were analyzed to determine the relationships between test scores and training program entered. Results are presented. (Author)
