Seventy-two second-, third-, and fourth- grade girls were exposed to a video-taped adult model who practiced and/or preached generosity or selfishness. The effect of the model's practices upon Ss donation behavior was marginally significant, but donation behavior was unaffected by either the power or the exhortations of the model. (WY)

This analysis of social survey reports and other data points to the conclusion that the public tends to declare negative valuations on persons diagnosed as mentally ill. However, the public tends to be more tolerant of deviant conduct when it is not described with mental illness labels. (Author/KJ)

Through the use of a self report measure, evidence was provided for the hypothesis that the tendency to adopt either the ethics of personal conscience or the ethics of social responsibility in relation to moral principles is a result of the adherent's underlying personality structure. (Author/KJ)

This paper contends that the current diagnostic process could increase its value by using available procedures for more precise definition of terms and identification of behavioral correlates, and by the elaboration of concomitant etiological, dynamic and therapeutic possibilities. (Author)
