Bramley, Paul; López-López, José A.; Higgins, Julian P. T. – Research Synthesis Methods, 2021
Standard meta-analysis methods are vulnerable to bias from incomplete reporting of results (both publication and outcome reporting bias) and poor study quality. Several alternative methods have been proposed as being less vulnerable to such biases. To evaluate these claims independently we simulated study results under a broad range of conditions…

Atkin, Keith – Physics Education, 2021
This paper shows how the freely downloadable software package called "SMath Studio" can be used to solve the time-independent Schrödinger equation using a simple step-wise approximation. The solution is illustrated with reference to the hydrogen atom for which trial eigenvalues are supplied by the energy level formula of the Bohr atom.

Merrill, Becca C. – Review of Educational Research, 2021
Teacher working conditions (TWCs) are, in many ways, student learning conditions. Furthermore, they have also been linked to teacher retention. These connections make TWCs important to understand; yet there is no accepted construct definition delineating and defining what TWCs are. Through a systematic review and narrative synthesis of literature…
