Over 4,500 students from 28 universities, colleges, and junior colleges constituting a state system of higher education were compared on extent of drug use. The study reported surveyed in 1972 the educational aspiration of all high school seniors in Alaska and in 1973 the extent to which goals were realized. Findings showed that most students do not carry out their plans. Alaskan Natives had slightly higher aspirations, but differences in enrollment rates are not as great as expected. (JT)
