A survey of agricultural communication programs in the 13-state southern region reviewed areas being taught, enrollment, and faculty allocation. Findings indicate that programs depend on a small number of faculty, many of whom are frustrated by the lack of support, recognition, and respect. Two-thirds felt national accreditation would help.
