Attitudes towards sex stereotypes can be changed by offering equal opportunities to both male and female students in vocational education. The programs undertaken by the New Pioneers Project used various strategies to increase student interest in areas of vocational education outside the traditional stereotype, hoping to eliminate sex bias. This analysis of the relationship between percent Black enrollment and White enrollment change focuses on 60 districts and about 1,600 schools in the South.
