When the effectiveness of free time and daily report card systems on assignment completion and accuracy of four junior high school special education students were compared, results indicated that both procedures improved students' performance. (Author)

Reviews research on the uses and potentialities of television in education with emphasis on work done with chemistry programs. The repertory grid analyzed by new methods of computer analysis is a sensitive instrument allowing individuals to model any topic in terms of personal constructs. Useful computer programs include FOCUS, PEGASUS, MINUS, CORE, SOCIOGRIDS, and ARGUS. (Author)

Three of Guilford's tests of divergent thinking were scored for ideational fluency and originality. The originality scores were reliable, but when the effects of ideational fluency were partialed out of the originality scores, all reliabilities showed substantial decrements; interest correlations dropped to zero or showed a substantial decrement.…

A comparison of identity status, locus of control, and ego stage development was completed using 294 college students. Identity achievement students were found to be more advanced in their ego stage development and level of internality, while diffusion students were less advanced.
