Survey findings indicated the use of alcohol and drugs among prepubertal and teenage students, and the involvement of both groups in theft and valdalism. Adult females recalled lists of six words, including some plural nouns, presented visually in sequence. A frequent error was to detach the plural from its root. This supports a morpheme-based as opposed to a unitary word code. Evidence for a primarily phonological coding of the plural morpheme was obtained. (Author/RD)

A survey examined secondary school teachers' perceptions of the effects of program, student, and teacher evaluations on instructional improvement. Results indicated that student evaluation was most effective in influencing teachers to revise their instruction. Teacher and program evaluations appeared to be ineffective as change agents. (MH)

Gifted and nongifted children in grades 4 to 6 judged the importance of intelligence, creativity, and personal-social characteristics in teachers' classroom behavior. All children, regardless of intelligence, creativity, sex, or age, valued the intelligence domain of teacher behavior much more than the other two. (Author/RD)

House, Gary D. – Multiple Linear Regression Viewpoints, 1979
The relative magnitudes of R-squared values computed through multiple regression models using grade equivalent scores, raw scores, standard scores, and percentiles as both predictor and criterion variables are compared.
