This paper re-evaluates traditional approaches to the study of children's drawings in the light of current process-oriented research. A tentative synthesis of accounts of developmental stages in drawing is followed by an appraisal of drawings analysis in applied psychology. Main features of the new approach are outlined. (Author)

Bem's definition of psychological androgyny obscures a potentially important distinction between those individuals who score high on both masculinity and femininity and those individuals who score low on both. The results of an auditory screening protocol administered to 342 adolescents (ages 10-20) suggest a high level of noise exposure in the adolescent population. Overall failure rate was 25%. Significant correlations were found between firearm use and hearing loss at 6000 Hertz. Screening and education efforts are urged. (Author/CR)

This study reports a multitrait-multimethod analysis of evidence relating to the validity of reporting on subdomains in science from national tests at age 14 in England and Wales in 1993.
