Peer reviewedWainer, Howard; And Others – Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1976
All pairs of Rorschach inkblots were scaled for perceived similarity by one normal and two psychopathological samples. The resulting data were analyzed using Carroll and Chang's INDSCAL model, which resulted in a good fit in two dimensions. These were interpreted as a dimension of color and one of form ("twoness"). Peer reviewedKotzan, Jeffrey A.; Mikeal, Robert L. – American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, 1976
A campus-wide analysis generated five teaching evaluation factors: Subject Organization and Competence; Motivation-Stimulation; Instructor-Student Relations; Reasonable Work Load; and Clearness of Grading Procedures. The methodology revealed differences among pharmacy instructors along a student-perceived motivational factor. (LBH)

Peer reviewedLoesch, Larry C.; Rucker, Barbara B. – Counselor Education and Supervision, 1977
This study was conducted on the Counselor Evaluation Rating Scale (CERS). Ratings on 404 students from approximately 35 different supervisors were factor-analyzed using an oblique solution with rotation to simple loadings. It was concluded that the CERS has generally achieved the purposes intended by its authors. (Author)

Rojahn, Johannes; Tasse, Marc J.; Sturmey, Peter – American Journal on Mental Retardation, 1997
Development of the Stereotyped Behavior Scale for adolescents and adults with mental retardation is described. Use with 600 individuals resulted in refinement and a 26-item scale with an internal consistency alpha of 0.88, test-retest reliability of p=0.90, and interrater reliability of p=0.76. (DB)

Peer reviewedColledge, Essi; Bishop, Dorothy V.M.; Koeppen-Schomerus, Gesina; Price, Thomas S.; Happe, Francesca G.E.; Eley, Thalia C.; Dale, Philip S.; Plomin, Robert – Developmental Psychology, 2002
Language development was studied in 310 pairs of 4-year-old twins. Rotated factor analyses indicated presence of a general language factor (L) and a general nonverbal factor (NV). Moderate genetic influence was found for L and NV abilities. Bivariate genetic analysis estimated a genetic correlation of .63 between L and NV abilities. Results…
