Compared attitudes and perceptions of male (N=227) and female (N=54) graduate students in a college of veterinary medicine. Significant sex differences were found in five areas: peer relationships, gender role expectations, perceived sex discrimination, and attitudes about self-disclosure and general competitiveness. Assessed the needs of part-time students (N=146) attending an urban university. A questionnaire was developed and administered during class time, and a random sample of students were interviewed.
