Described is the contract for the CASE (Career Associate in Special Education) program designed to structure and formalize the relation between practicum objectives and student behaviors. The contract has resulted in the elimination of several undesirable or unprofessional work-related behaviors and poor work habits. (JMF)

The dual supervision model is an approach that simultaneously meets training needs of future counselors and counselor educators. The rationale for the dual supervision model, results of an exploratory study, and counseling-practicum supervisors' reactions to the model are described. (Author)

The goal of this study was to identify relationships among the counseling behaviors of practicum trainees and the supervision behaviors of their supervisors during a one-semester counseling practicum. Trained judges rated several variables from audiotapes. Empathy levels of the supervisors had no apparent effect on the trainees. (Author)
