Thirty physicians' perceptions of their rates of prescribing an antianxiety drug were found to differ from their actual rates. When informed of this discrepancy, significant changes in prescribing behavior occurred. Implications for continuing medical education are discussed. (MSE)

Based on the hypothesis that graduate medical training should support and reinforce the choice to locate in underserved areas, a Texas medical group examined the practice locations of 20 residents during 1975-81. Results show medically underserved areas to be devalued and increased value placed on practice in metropolitan areas. (MSE)
