It is contended that the national Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) requirements for certification of amateur athletic events are violative of the Sherman Antitrust Act. Revisions in the certification requirements are suggested which would control the amateur standing and economic exploitation of the athlete but with minimum restriction. (JT)
