Results indicate that scale values can be approximated satisfactorily through item-examinee sampling. The results of this study of 24 9- and 10-year-old normal children indicated that by 9 years of age, children spontaneously adopt both ear and temporal recall strategies under the same conditions as do adults. The children readily switch from one recall strategy to the other as a function of the rate input of the material. (WY)

The tracking behavior of Infants up to 5 months of age was studied using linear and circular trajectories, with partial occlusion of the trajectories. Results indicate that it is not until the age of about 16 weeks that infants can be said to be tracking a moving object as an object. (Author/WY)
