Dental hygiene students (n=15) took a first examination on computer then paper; 15 others took the paper test first. Computer test scores were higher than paper for the first exam. Student acceptance of the computer format was mixed. Computer exams reduced scoring and grade reporting time. (SK)

Health occupations students were given three types of interventions: (1) direct teaching about work ethic; (2) work ethic demonstrated through modeling and teachable moments; and (3) student self-evaluation of work behavior. A combination of the methods was most effective. Most students were able to evaluate their own behavior accurately. (SK)
